What to expect:
Kimchi is one of the Korea’s representative food which is becoming more popular around the world nowadays. In addition, in December 2013 the Korean traditions of making and sharing kimchi were included in the UNESCO Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
Participants can learn the kimchi recipe and the philosophy of kimchi-making through The Kimchi Story created by Seung Ah Kim.
Book-making with handmade Korean paper, hanji, will be a very special experience and a memorable souvenir even though participants don’t get to visit Korea.

Participants can:
- Understand more about kimchi and Korean handmade paper, hanji
- Learn a quick and simple kimchi recipe through The Kimchi Story
- Have an opportunity to illustrate Korean culture
Book-making materials, and special hanji paper, will be provided by the organiser and is inclusive in the ticket price.
All children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult throughout the workshop.
