Target: | Storytellers and Spoken Word Practitioners, Social Sector Organisations like NGOs |
Level: | Intermediate |
This workshop highlights and explores how narrative and storytelling can be used in a range of ways, including community development, research, evaluation and therapy.
Katrice Horsley will use the experience of her work in prisons, with street gangs and with the socially excluded to offer a range of techniques that she has found to be successful in enabling all people to find a voice.
This workshop will not look at performance skills but will focus instead on the uses of narrative and story.
Participants will be fully engaged using a range of embedding techniques and exercises that they can then use in their settings and work environments.
