Using a traditional story, Clare will demonstrate the notion of threshold moments: times of insight, realisation, deepened consciousness and transformation for the heroine or hero. Participants will be encouraged to find resonances from the threshold moments in this traditional story, to threshold experiences in their personal lives, or in their communities, organisations or workplaces. We will examine ways to optimise our experience of threshold moments in our own stories, and enhance the possibilities of choice in our lives. We will also look at ways to mark thresholds as storytellers, to deepen the impact of our stories for our listeners.
